Our adult registered provisions are set up to meet the needs of men who have learning difficulties and often have previously lived in one of our children’s residential care homes. Our 18+ adult services are all about reintegration. We aim to reintroduce these men into the local area, supporting and supervising them so they can live the best possible life. When complex needs and forensic issues are identified, psychological support is also provided by our in-house therapy team.

Experienced teams

Our committed, experienced teams are on hand 24 hours a day to meet each person’s emotional, social and health needs. We support them to live life as fully as possible, while still accounting for their vulnerability and public protection.

Aspirational approach

By helping residents explore and take up personal and leisure interests, we actively promote their physical and emotional wellbeing. This helps them have their say in their own individual plans. It also encourages independence. Combined with tailored practical and emotional independence training and life enrichment plans, their life and social skills are enhanced in a way that hopefully leads to positive life choices and a better quality of life.

Safety and risk assessments

Our first priority is a full, comprehensive risk assessment and the safety of all concerned. So where possible, we encourage the people we support to play an active part in the process, increasing self-awareness and educating them on the importance of personal responsibility.

Therapeutic Interventions

Our Specialist Therapeutic Service is able to provide interventions for bespoke placements within Hexagon Care Services where required, subject to availability, care planning and fee agreement.
